Before you join

Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. There's no long contract — the plan is a simple monthly payment you can stop at any time. We're confident you'll stay because it's worth it, not because you're locked in.
I'm already a Rugby Smiles patient — can I join?
Absolutely, and it's the easiest way to manage your routine care. Mention it at your next visit or call us and we'll switch you over in a couple of minutes.
I'm new — do I need to be seen first?
New patients are very welcome. We'll book you a full examination first so we know exactly where your oral health stands — it's £45 at the moment (usually £65) — then your plan covers your routine care from there.
What happens if I need treatment beyond routine care?
You get 10% off everyday treatment as a plan member — fillings, root canal treatment, crowns, whitening and more (major treatments such as dental implants are excluded). Your dentist will always give you a clear written estimate first, and because we see you regularly, treatment needs are caught early when they're smaller and cheaper.
Is this an NHS plan?
No — Rugby Smiles is a private practice, and the plan is our way of making private care simple to budget for. I'm on Denplan or another plan — is switching hard?
Not at all. There's nothing to transfer — simply join our plan and cancel your old one directly. If you're unsure about timing, call us and we'll help you work out the smoothest switch.
What is AirFlow / Guided Biofilm Therapy?
AirFlow® (GBT) is the modern replacement for scrape-and-polish hygiene: a warm, gentle jet of water, air and fine powder that removes plaque, biofilm and staining — comfortable enough that patients actually look forward to it. Rugby Smiles is a certified GBT practice.
Can my family join too?
Yes — and your children's check-ups are free while you're a plan member. Adults each join on their own plan so their care is tracked individually.
