Teeth whitening before a wedding: the timeline that works

The timeline, backwards from the day
Three months out

The two things people forget
First: bonding, veneers and crowns do not whiten. If you have a bonded or crowned front tooth, whiten first, then have it colour-matched to the new shade, or it will look darker in every photo. Bonding for a chipped or uneven edge takes one visit and sits neatly at the two-to-three-weeks-out point.
Second: whitening changes the tooth shade, not the surface stain. If your teeth have dulled from coffee rather than darkened underneath, an Airflow clean at £92 ten days before the wedding may be all you need, and we will tell you so at the consultation.

What to expect, so the photos match the plan
